Here`s The Lowedown on "Halloween" (R - 2018 - US)...Evil is Real! Genre: Horror/Slasher My Score: 8.2 Cast=7 Acting=6 Plot=9 Ending=9 Story=7 Scare=7 Jump=8 F/X=10 Kills=10 Blood=9 Laurie Strode confronts her long-time foe Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago. "He was not her brother, that`s something that people made up." I think my favorite part is that it brought back some of the feel of the original films. The story pulls a days of future past and resets the timeline...turning the franchise into a giant etch-a-sketch. The dynamic of Laurie and Michael`s lives was really fascinating and adds depth to the plot. I think this is a solid watch for slasher fans and a must see for fans of the franchise.
